The Arbor Lifts Story

Meet the owner...
Andy has enjoyed a career in the Green Industry for more than 40 years. He began with a local tree service in Massachusetts in the mid-1980s before pursuing degrees in both Arboriculture and Turfgrass Science from UMass Amherst.
After college, Andy went on to sell Plant Health Care and Turf Services for several national companies throughout the Northeast. During that time, he also began refining his interest in high-output engine building and street/track performance, with a focus on forced induction and nitrous systems.
While working for an international fertilizer company and managing a tree health care company throughout the 1990s, Andy continued to develop his mechanical skills, applying them to spray systems, commercial turf equipment, landscape equipment, and tree care machinery.
In the 2000s, Andy started his own Plant Health Care and turf management business, which operated successfully before he was presented with a buyout opportunity. During those years of “wearing all the hats,” he also served as the de facto lead mechanic, performing preventive maintenance and major repairs on more than 50 rolling assets.
Following the sale of his business, Andy moved into fleet services for a local tree company, where he was introduced to spider lifts for the first time. At the time, spider lifts were still relatively new to the tree care industry but were quickly gaining traction. Andy was fortunate to gain experience with what many consider one of the finest lifts available: the Platform Basket 27.14.
Drawing on years of his mechanical and troubleshooting experience, Andy quickly developed a passion for these unique machines. While he continued working on all types of tree care equipment, spider lifts became his favorite. When the opportunity arose to join Tracked Lifts in Field Service, the decision was an easy one.
In the fall of 2025, Andy formed Arbor Lifts of New England after being presented with another unique opportunity: becoming a Factory Authorized Service Provider. Learning the ins and outs of OMME and Platform Basket equipment has been, and remains, a true passion for Andy. It allows him to stay connected to the professional arboriculture market while providing a much-needed service to the New England area.
Having met many of you during his time at Tracked Lifts, Andy is excited to continue servicing your spider lifts with the knowledge, experience, and dedication gained over decades in the industry.
